2006  - SIGN SERIES

This series was just beginning - I am not entirely sure I am finished with it, but as with all my work, it will reveal itself in time! These 2 paintings are based on photos I took a the 'Sign Graveyard" in las Vegas. I love the irony of these glittery signs just wasting away in the desert.  

2004 - FAIRY TALE SERIES

In the past, Fairy tales were used to teach us lessons. My work takes this old text and through irony, word puns and satire, re-invents the often-outdated subject matter to draw attention to current issues. By juxtaposing current themes against these old beliefs, I hope to challenge both traditional and modern values.
