Don't know what "The 6ix" is?? GO HERE...TO FIND OUT WHY.
This print is based on my original painting was painted to mimic the 'Welcome to..." postcards from the 1950's. I picked imagery that I thought really was Toronto-y - icons of the city which included: The Skyline with the CN Tower, The fantastic modernist architecture of New City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square, The Goodman Worts Flatiron Building, The clocktower of the Old City hall Building, The St Lawrence Market, The streetcar, The Prince's Gates at the CNE (and another streetcar), The Flag of Toronto, AND the unofficial mascot for Toronto - the raccoon!
I think that is all you need to know, but please email if you have any other questions!!
